Review of Herø (2001) by Tsukasa A — 02 Jan 2015
The SF movie is deep. It is not just a love story of a withdrawn writer and an OS. Its plot includes various episodes such as ghost-writing, an ex-wife, cyber sex, a blind dating, a surrogate sexual partner and an ex-girlfriend and highlights what love is supposed to be in multi-layer structure.
Scarlett performs as an OS by voice nicely. Amy's performance as an ex-girlfriend and Mara's performance as an ex-wife are also good. Music and images are beautiful. The script is as great as to win the Academy Award for Best Screenplay but its cast, images and music also makes the movie high tone and elegant.
