Review of Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011) by Tsukasa A — 22 Feb 2015
His sushi looks great and delicious. It's a documentary of an 80-year old chef of a 10-seat sushi only restaurant which is the first of its kind to be awarded a 3 star Michelin review. He looks like an ordinary Japanese old man.
He is not highly educated nor (at least looks like) specially gifted. The movie reveals secret of his success. His philosophy may be old fashioned and his success may not be a kind of American dreams but I believe we need to pay much respect to his success.
