Review of Herø (2001) by Stefano L — 20 Apr 2015
Brilliantly played by Joaquin Phoenix. I was forcibly drawn into the film trailer, as it showed the romance between electronically designed machine and a human. The idea of the movie seems a bit overlapping with Julia roberts and Robin william's Bicentinneal man in 1999.
Yet, this movie does bring in more futuristic perceptive to the game, where a person falls in love with an electronic-non-body computer. Later on, it feels very realistic of how Theodore faces problems with a computer that talks to multiple-million people at the same time while listenning to music, and more, portraying the un-bridgable gap between a human and a humanoid.
Very well describes what our future might hold in place, where people lose their love in developing technology.
