Review of Hereditary (2018) by Jason J — 21 Jun 2018
Could have been a really good film, and was reasonably edgy for the first two acts. Had a nice slow burn and you never knew where it was going (in a good way). The director then lost the courage of his convictions and threw everything and the kitchen sink at the final act, so that even in retrospect you have to think "that scene / character action made no sense at all".
Really don't get all the critic love for this movie.
