Review of Hereditary (2018) by Nicholas%20 D — 22 Jun 2018
Brilliant work by Toni Collette and Alex Wolff bolstered by a horror narrative that scares because of how realistic (most) of these horrors are. A true thriller that does not rely on cheap jump scares, much to the dismay of general audiences, but instead creates a world where the truly horrific events take place in the car or at the kitchen table.
An instant classic that other moviemakers in the horror/thriller genre wish they could replicate and will attempt to.
