Review of Hereditary (2018) by Acacia — 13 Jun 2018

I was so taken with the level of sophistication of this “horror” movie a d its excellent cast. The story proceeds with good speed and there are a couple of shockers thrown in here and there. It was going along jjst great, I thought, and I was caught up in the story and what was happening.

However, I just have to say, that despite the foreshadowing, the last 15 minutes or so just kind of blew the whole thing for me. I thought it just seemed to go right off the rails. Of those seeing it with me, we were probably divided 50/50 on being okay with the ending and not liking it.

So you have to see it and determine for yourself what you think. It is a very well done movie and I understand people’s calls for Collette to be awarded for her performance.
