A carefully crafted true horror film, with excellent performances from the entire cast. This is what a horror film is supposed to be. Tension and anguish, and the pressure builds throughout. There isn't a cheap "jump scare" in the film.
Aster knows what he's doing---and he's doing it to you on a visceral level. You will feel this movie.
