I see some other reviews saying that the plot was weak and that there were exposition dumps that had to explain things that would otherwise be totally confusing. I feel the complete opposite: there are signs everywhere.
From the very first scenes of the movie they begin showing you hints. The first third or so of the movie seems slow and unimportant at first; it's only when you think back on it after you've seen the rest of the movie that you can appreciate it.
