Slow paced to draw the thinly veiled material out, and hope the audience does not notice that creepy is all the actual horror that could be mustered. Even then, it was totally reliant on the musical score to carry the impression horror was right around the corner, as the director has no idea that visuals are also needed to sell these scenes. Toss in some schizophrenic characterization, where they randomly switch emotions or at time, personalities. Finally the plot itself was either butchered on the editing room floor, or was always a mystery box of interesting ideas that went nowhere. Convolusion in the pretense of complexity, does not a good move make.

Final verdict: Falls victim to the follies of most Writer/Diectors, whom all believe the Red pen and the word 're-write' should never touch their masterpiece.
