Lovely, understated and against-the-grain paced - the film may as well be called "Clint Eastwood's Dreams". Here is a drama that patiently develops its characters (involving the viewer in the minutiae of their everyday lives) and allows its story to breathe.
The payoff at the end is that much stronger.
