Review of Hereafter (2010) by Daniel S — 29 Jan 2012
An enjoyable and moving film about the afterlife with convincing performances from Matt Damon and Cecile De France ( a woman who I still wouldn't trust with a power saw). It breaks the two hour mark but sailed past quite quickly, the child actor in the film could do with some more lessons but he's only a kid.
Clint Eastwood handles the material respectfully and tenderly, Just imagine how Michael Bay would handle a film which opens with the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami, and it'd no doubt be in 3D.
