Review of Hereafter (2010) by Sarah O — 10 Sep 2011
The very definition of a misfire. Eastwood at his worst. Damon is miscast in a role designed for someone with more depth. The most dramatic scenes don't click and at times border on embarassing. Its also bloated, unfocused and highlighted by cookery classes and a tsunami.
The latter happens five minutes into the film. When its done, you might as well walk away. Its either that or hang around for the misery.
