An excellent movie. all around well made. great pacing, great, acting, just great. the relationship itself is believable enough and even charming. however, two big problems for me are the end and the protagonist.
the writer chooses the "easy way out": instead of having to wrestle with the complications of their relationship, it just ends abruptly. also, another movie with a smart, successful, humorous, attractive, charming, sensitive, fun but alas, lonely guy? what was his problem after all? why was his ex wife so angry? anyways, still a winner due to excellent pacing, writing, acting, premise, and it has that exuberant Spoke Jonze energy that I love.
