An all-round incredibly well made movie. What I love so much about Her, is that through the film, Jonze has managed to raise the questions of 'what is love' and 'what makes us human'. Both points are thoroughly explored throughout the film as our protagonist falls for his operating system.
It's also set in the not too distant future, and asks the question 'where are we going' with modern advances in technology and how they change and shape human relationships. Ultimately, Her never really definitively answers those questions, instead letting the audience have their own take on the movie.
The score is great, and its characters are well developed but it's these 3 simple messages the film has at its core that I believe makes her such a worthwhile watch.
