Unrelated to anything, why are the home scenes with Judy filmed in the New York City borough of Queens while the rest of the film shot in and around Buffalo? Seems a silly choice to film a few scenes so far away from the home of principal photography unless it adds something to the film, which it doesn't.
Why do I mention this? Because the movie itself is rather meh. Keanu Reeves, James Caan, and Vera Farmiga are engaging enough, but there's not enough meat on this indie bone.
