Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Nat G — 20 Aug 2007
Henry is the story of the life of a serial killer. We follow a trail of many horrific death's all very brutal and unnecessary. This is not a film for the week. It is so brutally real that even I a 25 year old found it extremely hard to watch.
I can't say I like this film, but it is filmed amazingly well, especially as it is a low budget film. But unlike many films this one is very realistic, that it is almost like a documentary, and even could be, as it feels like it is happing in front of you. This is why it is the most horrific film I have ever seen. I will probably not watch it again as there is no need to.
Acting is strangely good, and this film is well worth a watch, but it is to be watched with some caution.
