Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Jordan J — 07 Nov 2007
This film is the sort of thing one has to experience before passing judgment on. There is actually very little violence. But what we do see is pretty shocking. To top it off, Henry is actually a likable and sympathetic individual, albeit one you'd prefer not knowing personally.
Michael Rooker jump-started his career with this unusual and bone-chilling character study, and he's never been better. By no means is this movie for the weak stomach.
