Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Tristan P — 25 May 2008
I'm the first to admit that I love graphic gore, but I've got to say that this film, in which 95% or the violence is suggested but not shown, is exponentially more disturbing than the majority of the splatter films I've seen.
The excellent performances from Michael Rooker, Tom Towles and Tracy Arnold help a lot, as does John McNaughton's clean, non-flashy direction.
