Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Paul S — 02 Jun 2011
This film is disturbing. It is the epitome of savage horror. Michael Rooker makes this his vehicle with his voice, facial expressions and mug. I have not seen a horror film with such honesty before in my 25 years of obsession with the genere. This is as bad as it gets, which I mean in a good way. Surly on the fact that it was made in 1986. To this day nothing hasd been as real. There are graphic films out there but this one is in a class of, "must see", all of its own. If I was able to I'd refund anyone who doesn't agree on a rental, let alone an out right purchase! Warning, there is a scene involving a home invasion that most people walk out on. Stomach that one blockbuster. Oh, wait, you edit all that is not Christian. Eat a dick!!!
Paul.
