Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Paul P — 11 Dec 2011
An interesting and stark take on the mind of a serial killer.
Michael Rooker pretty much owns this flick, his brooding presence is felt all the way through and he is pretty chilling.
The look of the film is very drab and urban and the portrayal of violence is pretty jarring and over really quickly.
The only problem with flicks like this is that they are difficult to watch and actully enjoy. I guess that is a compliment to the makers as they must have done a pretty good job.
I doubt I will be checking this out again any time soon, but it's def worth a watch for the Rooker....
