Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Byron O — 29 May 2012
There was absolutely no point to this film. It just filled me with anger. The people who make these films don't realize how fucked up people are in this country, and that they are tapping into parts of the human subconscious that they should probably stay away from as far as many people are concerned.
There's often a very fine, thin line between Henry and your average joe, and the only thing that's keeping that line there are things like moral standards, and dedication to family/friends, but the feeling still lingers.
