Review of Henry Poole Is Here (2008) by Jason P — 26 Jun 2009
Luke Wilson is astoundingly understated. Henry Poole (Wilson) moves into a house in his growing up neighborhood to spend what he believes are his final days. When a religious neighbor discovers a watermark that she believes is the face of Jesus, the secluded Poole becomes the talk of the community.
The downfall of this already fallen man is a tale of redemption. Great story and plot but a little mundane and static a times. Could have been great. Replay Value: 2.
