This movie was good, but it was pretty slow-moving. By the end of the movie, I was wondering if I missed the whole part about him leaving "his job, his fiancee and his overbearing mother". It was listed in the synopsis above, making you think it would be something possibly dwelt on, but I don't even remember it.
