It's the whole science and reason versus faith and belief thing, except for the movie doesn't exactly make you feel like a fool for being a student of either school of thought. It's kind of about whatever will get you through the next day.
Luke Wilson is fantastic as Henry Poole, and he brings an excellent depth and vision to his sunken-eyed character. I was expecting a comedy, but when I got a drama out of it, I really wasn't disappointed at all.
In fact, if they had made this a comedy, it probably wouldn't have been a quarter as good as it is. This is one you need to see.
