The premise of the film is fine. "If you just Believe..." The problem is in the application. Luke Wilson, whom I normally like, is very 1-dimensional in his role as a dying man whose home has been "blessed" with the appearance of Jesus crying blood.
Some cliche movie devices don't help the film along. I wanted more of his story...of why he lost hope. Instead, the perception of this "miracle" is told mainly through an assortment of nosy neighbors and romantic un-realities.
You really want this movie to be better...but sadly, I don't believe it was!
