Through probable smut and a character with a disgusting past, enlightenment reaches a little town and will surely spread elsewhere. It's the ugly things in our lives that cause realizations and sharing those tidbits gives others that chance at awareness, too.
Henry and Simon provide that in the face of censorship and criticism because they know they must. All of the characters here are instantly developed, for better or worse, and you want to see how their lives twist and turn.
