Review of Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992) by André D — 23 Sep 2009
"Hellraiser" goes Hollywood and Pinhead goes Krueger as the Cenobites hit the Big Apple, bringing their chains with them. The third movie in the unstoppable francise (one of the least financially successful of all horror series) comes with style, gore, and something approaching a budget, but makes a fatal misstep in over-exposing hedgehog face whose pontificating and incomprehensible chatter make him a far less imposing fiend than in the previous two movies.
There are treats for fans though and it's certainly vastly superior to anything that came after it. Really not convinced by the merits of "Pistonhead" or "Camerahead" though.
