Review of Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992) by Roy C — 08 May 2011
A total letdown from the horrific heights that Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II achieve, Hellraiser 3 looses the visceral, Sadean philosophy of its predecessors and instead becomes a cheesy supernatural slasher film.
The cenobites indeed invade Earth, but it is in the most inane, predictable, and lame way possible. In fact, the only thing worthwhile about Hellraiser 3 is Motorhead's awesome cover of Ozzy's "Hellraiser.
