Down to a 69% critic score on Rotten, and that sounds about right. I give it a 5 for a one time watch. It had some good moments, but yet again hollywood wokeism is at work here in the beginning, with the cast and male gay characters.
The first 30 minutes of this was completely unnecessary and only appeals to woke culture. As far as the rest of the film, the gore wasn't all that much. There was flesh being peeled, hooks, and all the regular stuff you'd expect from this franchise.
Nothing original here except for some new cenobites. The ending was pretty garbage. Didn't care for the new female pinhead. She wasn't nearly as intimidating as Bradley's pinhead, and is very forgettable.
Still, it's a decent one time watch and nothing more.
