Review of Hellraiser (1987) by Andy N — 12 Sep 2009
I originally watched Hellraiser in middle school and didn't think much of it, but after rewatching it in college-this is easily one of my favorite horror movies of all time. The storytelling of Hellraiser is masterful with tons of different plot lines working around each other all at the same time and it's all paired with very beautiful, very intricate imagery.
The musical score is exemplary-the acting is excellent. This is one of the few-practically perfect horror films. Clive Barker created one of the most disturbing films of all time just 22 years ago.
