Review of Hellraiser (1987) by Lloyd D — 20 May 2010
A decent film that started a LOT of sequels. A couple move into a fixer upper and when Larry slashes himself on a nail he brings his brother back from a Hell he opened from a box. Frank then send his mistress who is larrys wife out for victims where Kirsty who is the daughter gets dragged into this mess.
People compare this film to Pinhead but hes hardly in it and thu mostly well acted its Ashly Lawrances 1st film and as Kirsty she does a great 1st acting role mixing innoince and is a fine looking lady.
Higgins def brings out her bad gal act out nicely as well and plays the character we all love to hate. The effects are nice and gory with some great hookings and just enough blood and gore to please the fans.
