Review of Hellraiser (1987) by Chuckie S — 21 Oct 2014

I went into Hellraiser expecting something along the lines of a Jason or Freddy movie, a slasher with Pinhead being the main monster killing tons of people. It was a lot different then that, with the iconic Pinhead not even being in the movie much and there was a lot more supernatural aspects then I was ready for.

There were some scary moments but overall it relied more on crazy looking monsters and blood and guts. The idea was interesting and I can see why there are multiple movies in the franchise. If your looking for a fun 80's horror film with something different then the normal stuff, this one should work and provide some entertainment and scares.
