Review of Hellraiser (1987) by Terry W — 09 Jul 2011
Another of the horror classics, along with Halloween and Chainsaw Massacre, that I find to be somewhat overrated. Decent performances and atmosphere are spoilt by the pacing and the criminal lack of screen time given to the Cenobites.
Still worth a watch for the phenomenal regeneration sequence and Doug Bradley being his usual godlike self.
