Sit com character runs deeper than network fare due to Sally Field's full on course in how to act no matter what was on the script. Charming, sometimes edgy, other times weak, still in the right frame of mind can prove healing.
An odd flick that is torn between genres ends up sweet nuff for your weekend rent-a-feel-good. Excellent supporting work from Tyne Daly. And another Peter Gallagher inspirational guru!
