Review of Hello, My Name Is Doris (2015) by Movie M — 02 Sep 2016
I didn't really expect much from "Hello My Name Is Doris", so in that sense, the movie did better than I expected, but still I wouldn't say that I liked it. Sally Field was by far the best in terms of acting in this movie, she did a pretty good job, however I don't believe I can say the same for the rest of the cast.
The acting was pretty sloppy, which I think was a major downturn in this movie. Going in, I knew it wasn't going to be the type of movie that I would typically enjoy, and for the most part, I was right.
"Hello My Name Is Doris", while not being the worst I could've imagined it being, didn't take me by surprise, and is just another dry rom-com that is only worth watching if you're bored.
