Review of Hello, My Name Is Doris (2015) by C H — 28 May 2017
A small-plot, small-world but really special little gem of a film. This is not a film I would recommend if you're not already familiar and fond of Sally Field as the rest of the cast are at best serviceable and forgettable.
I adored it for its singularity. Doris is one of those eccentric types who live for their aging parent and have no life of their own when said parent expires. She's a sheltered little nut.
