This was a drawn out affair, and was really painful to watch when Walter Matthau bursts out singing. If you're looking for the glory days of Singing in The Rain or An American In Paris, then don't watch this movie. Go watch High Society instead...

But Barbara really shows her potential in this role, where she gets to do everything that normal actors can only dream of, and she fulfills all expectations by exceeding them grandly, so most of us don't forget her when we've turned of the television ;).
