An excellent movie directed by Gene Kelly. His stamp is all over it. Streisand is superb as Dolly and I love Matthau's gruffness. The best part is seeing Michael Crawford act so goofy. I also loved the cameo by Louis Armstrong.
I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves musical theater.
