Review of Hello, Dolly! (1969) by Donna H — 30 Apr 2010
The synopsis says the plot is a flimsy excuse - isay poo to that.
I believe in Dolly Levi like I used to believe in fairies so Tinkerbell wouldn't die - especially when she is so FABULOUSLY brought to life by barbra (without an 'a').
Worst role I ever saw Mathau in.
I love the Odd Couple, Plaza Suite and the under rated A New Leaf 9best line 'Don't Let 'em out' as a prospective partner swings on a tree branch and prepares to release her ample busom) But this? Walter, you should and could have been soooo much better.
