Not as bad as you'd think from the critics reviews, though the CGI is disturbingly obvious green screen at times, which is a shame. There is absolutely no father-son chemistry at all which prevents this movie from ever really taking off.
Not for lack of trying, but this reboot is probably the worst in the series.
