Review of Hellbound (1994) by Robert B — 24 Mar 2009
This movie shows that not even the minions of Satan can withstand the awesome force of Chuck Norris. Chuck has maybe his most appropiate character name he ever had in Det. Shatter. It has all the Chuck staples, the token usually black partner, the troublesome kid that Chuck puts on the right path, and of course Chuck kicking all kinds of ass.
The Prosantos guy is supposed to be super threatning and indestuctible, but Chuck dispatches him rather easily. Sheree J. Wilson couldn't get enough of Chuck in the 90s, and she hardly makes a dent of importance in this movie.
The plot is almost interesting, but it is just loaded with the triteness you would expect.
