Review of Hellbound (1994) by Senor C — 13 Nov 2011
Cannon's last film before they went bankrupt. It's really too bad that this is what they served up as their last outing but because @ one time in the 80s they gave us some real 'gems'. Everybody deserves better especially Chuck Norris but this is directed by his brother Aaron Norris so someone was doing somebody some favors along the line.
I can't decide what is worse; this or Firewalker. Where as Firewalker was just embarrassing Hellbound is just fucking bad. Nothing in this movie makes much sense most of all having a couple of Chicago cops going to Israel investigating a murder case when their not working in conjunction w/ Israel police or some international enforcement agency.
No other reason to be there other then it was cheaper for Cannon to film. The plot holes are bigger then Nina Hartley's pussy. Then it uses every buddy cop movie cliche that Im surprised that Calvin Levels didn't end up dead @ some point in time.
If you're Norris's partner for sure you should end up dead. I guess if you're the comic relief that's the exception to the rule...too bad; you weren't that fucking funny.
