"Hell Ride" is basically a tribute to the Grindhouse biker movies of yesteryear, but it tries too hard to be a Tarantino or Rodriguez movie, and the cliches of the genre that it tries to send up fall flat more often than not.
A nice try, but pretty uninteresting when all is said and done, and an unfortunate waste of Hopper, Madsen and Jones's talents. I don't know, maybe I need to see it again to really get it. But frankly, I'd rather watch something else instead.
..like "Easy Rider".
