Well made and well acted movie that takes one uncomfortably close to the lives of two thugs and two other almost thugs. Viewers are almost forced to fall in love with the four for all their flaws and this is made worse by the sufferings inflicted on them as they battle each other to death.
The backdrop makes the Western even more poignant than otherwise.
