Beautifully shot capturing both the desolation as well as the sprawling, rugged beauty of some of the poorer areas in Texas, 'Hell or High Water' is realistically written with rich characters and a story that blurs the line between right and wrong, capturing the essence of a Western where, sometimes, a man's just gotta do what a man's gotta do.
A spattering of humour here and there, as well as spot-on performances from all involved provides the icing on the cake making this one hell of an entertaining film.
