Review of Heist (2001) by Mike B — 31 Dec 2007
Not as great as I'd hoped. Perhaps I've seen too many con-artist movies, but I predicted every twist in this one. What really stands out is Mamet's great dialogue. These guys talk their own language, and Mamet trusts the audience to keep up.
Oh, and DeVito? Not menacing, unfortunately.
