This is such a kitch eye candy sing-along-musical that comes from the glammed up rocker in all of us. Reminds me of nights at the Roxy! Hedwig is the few musicals that doesn't require the viwer to sit through boring set pieces but more invites you to be a part of a story as true to itself as the music.
You may compare it to others before it's time but this movie will stand as an original forever. Lipstick on a man never looked so good!
