I enjoyed it. It made me think about my life and why I'm on my own pursuit of happiness.
Maybe the critics that opposed this movie weren't looking for a movie that invoked their basic understanding of happiness, but something that made them feel good about themselves. Perhaps they were not looking for a man's pursuit of happiness in movie form, but instead just happiness in movie form.
To them, I say, go watch Despicable Me 2. It'll warm up your cold, unanimated life in the form of purple minions and unintelligible wordplay, just like your reviews.
