Review of Hector and the Search for Happiness (2014) by Tim E — 16 Dec 2015
A similar if not worse version of the Walter Mitty "search for your happiness" storyline. The storyline is self-centered and pointless. By attempting to tackle the whole world for its subject, it is spread far too thin, leaving you with not caring about anything.
The dialogue is forced and contrived with the random strangers. The message is so heavy-handed and wandering. It's just a bad movie, propelling a trite self-serving ego trip cinematic exploration that never should have been uncovered in the first place.
