Review of Heavy Metal (1981) by Kambria S — 12 Nov 2012
This was one of my absolute favorite movies as a kid, I thought it was so cool to have an animated movie that had all of these adult themes in it, but unfortunately it doesn't quite hold up and stay as awesome over the years.
The vignettes don't tie together that well and sometimes the animation looks almost frustratingly slow, especially during action scenes, but Heavy Metal still maintains some of its tacky charm that made me love it so much so long ago.
